CDROM publishing tutorial
PaperKiller includes an easy Wizard that allows you to create your own CD-ROM in minutes. The Wizard automatically builds and manages all files needed to set up both your hypertext documents and the reader program (iPerReader).
With only a few clicks you create the image of a CD, ready to be mastered with your usual CD burner software. The final user just inserts the CD in the drive, and your hypertext is automatically installed and shown. Furthermore, the final user doesn’t need Netscape Communicator or Internet Explorer, but only a plain Windows95 (or higher) system.
You can insert your own license statement, your “read me” file, and you can also customize the installer picture and the start picture (splash screen).
The CDs can be created just for personal use and for distribution within your own firm. RoboAuthor does not include the full distribution license for the CDs: in order to have this license you should get
HyperPublish or
CDFrontEnd (
Visual Vision products; both do include CD creation and full distribution license).
